Due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback we had about allowing our guests to book entire cabins last year, we're bringing that registration system back!
Your registration fee covers an entire cabin at Lost Canyon! Each cabin has 10, 12, or 14 twin beds, depending on which one you select, as well a large private bathroom designed for groups of that size. Note that children ages 2 and under for whom you are bringing a travel crib or travel bed do not count toward your total cabin guests.
You will be able to request a specific cabin on the Lost Canyon property when you purchase a cabin. We DO need every individual camper registration by July 31 so as to best accommodate every guest's needs.
We are also thrilled to be able to offer the Adult Guest Lodge at Family Camp again this year! You will see this option to purchase a room in the AGL after the regular cabin options. This unique lodge offers a luxury vacation-home style experience, with private bedrooms, private en-suite bathrooms, a shared full kitchen, and a spacious, comfortable living room with giant picture windows overlooking the Lost Canyon property. The Adult Guest Lodge (aka AGL) has always been a favorite of grandparents and other adult relatives joining their loved ones at camp. Each bedroom has 1 king-sized bed (some can optionally have 2 twins) and sleeps 2 adults at maximum. Please note that for the comfort and privacy of our AGL guests, no one under age 18 is allowed in AGL. Want to learn more about the Adult Guest Lodge? Every kid will have something to do. There will be limited times during free time where child care will be offered as well. Kids can play sports, ping pong, pool, swim, hike, hang in the snack bar with friends or lay by the pool and read! Go here to learn if your kid meets the safety requirements for the zipline, rockwall, and swing. Unfortunately, scooters, skateboards, bikes and pets are not allowed on camp property. Please leave these things at home.
Camp check-in opens Saturday, September 2nd at noon and continues until 4pm. Snack bar will be open starting at noon and the first meal is dinner at 6 pm on Saturday. You will want to arrive as soon after noon as possible to enjoy your free time before dinner on Saturday.
The camp includes lodging for two nights: Saturday and Sunday. You will receive dinner Saturday night, 3 meals Sunday and breakfast on Monday. Camp concludes on Monday, September, 4th (Labor Day) at 11:00am. Lunch is on your own on Monday. Unfortunately, you will not be able to stay at Lost Canyon Friday or Monday nights.
There is most definitely a program for adults! The club starts off with families singing and playing games together; babies (0-2) and toddlers (3-4) will be in childcare. When the speaker gets up to speak elementary kids are dismissed to go to a program designed just for them. Kids in middle school or older stay in club and listen to the speaker. During downtime, adults can play sports, ping pong, pool, swim, hike, hang in the snack bar with friends or lay by the pool and read!
Making Changes to the Guests in Your Room After Registration:
For your safety and the safety of all campers, you may NOT exceed the allowed number of people per room (even if additional people are sleeping on the floor, sharing a bed, etc.). If you have any questions about this, please contact us directly. Property staff and volunteers work hard to plan for the needs and accommodations of each individual camper, and logistics are more difficult to change the closer we get to camp. As such, there are fees for registration changes made after July 31st. Thank you for your understanding!
If you buy a room but register fewer people than the room accommodates, you can register additional people to your room at no cost until July 31st.
You may also change the names of the guests in your room at no cost until July 31st.
From August 1st to August 25th there is a $35 fee (per person) to register a new person to your room OR to change the names of the people in your room.
From August 26th until the start of camp, there is a $60 fee (per person) to register a new person to your room or to change the names of the people in your room..
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
We understand that life happens and some things are just not predictable!
However, Family Camp is a non-profit event, and we pay Lost Canyon for reserving their facility for the weekend regardless of whether registered campers attend. As such, a strict cancellation policy is necessary. We thank you in advance for your understanding! Please let us know if you have any questions about the following:
All purchases include a 3% service fee, which is non-refundable at any time.
Before April 15th, 100% of registration costs are refundable (minus the service fee).
From April 15th through May 31st, 75% of registration fees are refundable (minus the service fee).
From June 1st through July 31st, 50% of registration costs are refundable (minus the service fee).
From August 1st through August 25th, 25% of registration costs are refundable (minus the service fee).
After August 25th, all registration costs are non-refundable
No. Lost Canyon Policy is that no pets, dogs, cats, etc are allowed on property.
